Group 1 winner Ulysses (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) anchors the 2022 Cheveley Park Stud roster at £10,000 for 2022. Already the sire of 13 winners from his first crop of runners, the chestnut's best to date is G3 Eyrefield S. second Piz Badile (Ire), while Ulysses also has the listed-placed Gwan So (GB).
He is joined by Twilight Son (GB) (Kyllachy {GB}) at £7,000 and Mayson (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) at £6,000. With his eldest foals just three, the former has Group 3 winners Aria Importante (GB) and Twilight Jet (Ire) among his four stakes winners. The latter's Oxted (GB) won the G1 King's Stand S. this year. The fee for Dutch Art (GB) (Medicean {GB}), a roster stalwart, has been listed as private. His 42 black-type winners include this year's G1 July Cup S. hero Starman (GB). In Ireland, G1 Prix Morny victor Unfortunately (Ire) (Society Rock {Ire}) will command €3,500 at Springfield House Stud. His oldest foals are yearlings.

“The classically bred Ulysses has made a hugely encouraging start with his first crop runners, to date he has sired 13 individual winners, the same number as his illustrious sire, Galileo, managed with his first crop 2-year-olds also. They include two stakes performers, as well as several other promising maiden and novice winners.
“Once again, Mayson is one of the leading sires of sprinters in Europe, headed by the dual Group 1 winner Oxted and Group 2 winner Rohaan (Ire). Twilight Son has enjoyed another excellent year, with not only with two sale toppers but also with over 50 individual winners, including eight black-type horses led by the Group 3 winning 2-year-old Twilight Jet.
